ما لقلبك إن قلت استفق يهم ؟!؟
Salam guys
Well, my friends would be like 'What the hell r u doing online woman?! go study, u have an exam tomorrow!'
Well, thing is I've been trying to since yesterday, graphs and equations just won't sink in, I'd sit on my desk, open the book, turn on some music, even say duaa al mozakara, and then.....
Nothing, just nothing! I'd grab a peice of paper start writing, don't know why I get inspired at the time of exams :p probably coz subconciously I'm trying to delay revisions as much as I could.
Things haven't been working well lately, it seems everything choose to happen in the wrong time, subhan allah, but I'm sure there's a point from all this happening around me, alhamdulillah!
I called a friend, started talking to her, spilling out everything to her, she was like go take a warm shower and pray, I did what she said, I'm not sure if it made me feel better, on the contrary, I felt really down afterwards, I've never been in such a mood before.
I logged in, and a friend of mine sent me this great nasheed, 'al burdah' well, u'll all say, what's the big deal with the burdah, we've listened to it a zillion times from zillions of artists, but no! this one is really special, it's so out of this world! I couldn't stop my tears, it was describing every single thing I've been feeling lately, I'd listen to it over and over, feel it sinking into my heart before my ears, I let it sink in, made me feel a lot better, not really a lot better, but it kinda explained what I feel, felt like a heavenly hand is tapping me on the shoulders, consoling me, promising me everything is going to be fine.
Oh my God! how I love arabic poetry, English has always been my favourite language, I'd love to study it after I graduate, I really doubt it if we even gathered the greatest english poets of all times together, they won't be able to write such a peice of art.
نعمْ سرى طيفُ منْ أهوى فأرقـني والحب يعترض اللذات بالألــــمِ
Shakes ur heart right to its core, right?
Well, I probably should log off now, try another attemp to study anything, I hope I'd succeed this time thu!
May Allah guide us all to the right path and choose what's best for us, and make us feel good about it. Amen.
